Why did the Jonas Brothers break up?

The Jonas Brothers broke up in the year 2013, canceling a tour and revealing that there was “a deep rift within the band.”

In 2019, they reunited, shocking the world.

“To call it creative differences is almost too simple,” said Nick Jonas when speaking of their split in Sunday Morning.

He revealed that he told his brothers and the three had a big fight.

“I said, ‘You know, I feel like the Jonas Brothers should be no more, and we should go on individual journeys.’ And it didn’t go so well… And I feared that, you know, we — they would never speak to me again,” said Nick.

Frankie explains his personal connection to the show

In an interview from 2022, Frankie explained his special connection to the show, and revealed what he thought when he first received the phone call from ABC.

“Are you sure I’m not supposed to be a contestant?” he asked them according to People Magazine.

“I think I was able to really bridge this gap between Kevin and the contestants,” said Frankie.

“They felt comfortable with me as a friend, where Kevin was more the host.

“For the contestants, I think it was really nice for them to have a voice on both sides.”
