Police divers find body of missing Toby Burwell, 17, in Newbold Quarry after teen vanished six weeks
COPS have found a body in the search for a missing teen who vanished six weeks ago.
Toby Burwell, 17, was found by police divers in the Newbold Quarry in Rugby, Warwickshire after a desperate search effort ended in tragedy.
The search included specialist officers, sonar and underwater drones in the weeks since he went missing.
He was last seen leaving his home in the Newbold area on February 20.
Warwickshire Police today said formal identification has taken place and it is understood the body is that of the 17-year-old.
Police added that the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
